And Finally…

    • The broader market which had been teetering on the verge of new all-time highs finally broke into new high ground last week. The uneven recovery in the economy continues which is now established as the new normal. Although some large retail chains reported a rise in income, tech is leading the way forward via remote commerce whilst people intensive industries suffer.
    • Merger Spreads posted a rare loss during the week. However, the inclusion of three new deals is encouraging and provides some badly needed fresh opportunities. Existing deals will continue to close in the near future which will more than likely keep the index below a full complement.
