  • Despite being broadly positive, corporate earnings have now almost played out for this season. At the macro level, fears continue to persist of a global economic slowdown. Subsequently, markets have become increasing jittery and have fallen for the third straight week. Disappointing German and Chinese economic data has confounded these fears. However, U.S. productivity did provide a bright spot on the economic front along with healthy retail sales data.
  • Spreads widened slightly during the week as market volatilty continued. As usual, PACB had a volatile week but recouped its earlier losses. RRGB was the main drag on the T20 performance.
