    • News was dominated this week by the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus as states grappled with the balance of reopening their economies whilst trying to curtail the spread of the virus. Domestic and international travel restrictions are taking their toll on the US economy whilst Europe looks to open its borders.
    • Spreads gave up ground during the week as fears of a premature reopening of the economy hit hospitality stocks hard. Selected states have already begun to curtail their reopening plans. However, the 58.com deal has progressed and the announced takeover approach for CoreLogic does suggest M&A activity is not completely dead.
