- Jobless numbers continue to stun the markets with record claims being filed. Although the numbers were inline with expectations. The markets however reacted positively to the implementation of stimulus measures to support the markets. However, how the volume of unemployment claims and the level of reduced consumer spending will effect the economy in the future remains to be seen. - Spreads narrowed during the week. Deals have continued to close and new replacements, even rumors of a deal, are few and far between. The index retains a full compliment of constituents, for the meantime giving trader something to work although going forward there will be slim pickings.
