Global governments are enacting lock down policies to contain the virus with the longer term effects on the global economy almost impossible to predict. Financial assistance to support the global economy have been announced but panic in the markets continues.
- Spreads continue to widen. The prolonged economic withdrawal will now bring into question the validity of some of these deals forcing stocks to fall even further than the broader market. The almost total collapse of RRGB amidst the suffering of eat-in restaurants continue to dominate the portfolio performance.
