AMED) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $32.3 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier. On a per-share basis, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based company said it had net income of 98 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1.32 per share.
